On the map screen you can see the figure of your current track overlaid by the cameras nearby. Note, that the minimap supports the drag/zoom operations with your fingers.

Show POIs
Shows/hides the camera icons on the minimap. Touching the text toggles the checkbox as well.

Keeps your current position visible.
Note: The Google Maps integration on the Map view requires use of the device's internet connection to update its content.
